Why did you start your business, the restaurant?
For the love of food and its sensual side.
I was born and grew up in Puglia, the very south of Italy, where people always love to gather around food and a delicious meal. Its just in our blood!
I like being around people, hosting my friends and spoiling them with good food - its in the kitchen where the most beautiful memories are created, right?
I must admit - I am no cook, but I just love food, I love to enjoy and indulge!
What differs italian cooking from other countries, is the love for simplicity, we call it the Cucina alto-borghese - it is a beautiful and sort of regional cooking, that is incredible diverse.
We focus on basic, but excellent ingredients, that are the star of the kitchen and can´t be missed in a meal.
What we do, comes from the heart. It comes with the love for pleasure, for the products, nature, but most important we share the love for craftmanship, for the producers and our partners.
Our team is our family. We share the same values, passion and crazyness :-)
With CIAO AMORE, I want to bring a fresh breeze into the restaurant. I am proud of our roots, where we come from, and the history we have experienced. It is a constant process of growing and learning, where every step has been necessary to lead us where we are now.
My dream is to bring people closer to Italy, piece by piece.
It is our responsability to show and teach them the quality and craftsmanship behind every dish, to make them feel the passion. This is what we want to share.
They have to see it, experience it, taste it.
Finally, our guests should feel at home here, with my family.
